As the nation awaits President Trump’s SCOTUS nominee, several Democrats have aired displease on the impending announcement.

A coveted seat in the Supreme Court vacated by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is waiting to be filled in, and the President marvels at the chance of nominating for the third time.

However, the timing, similar to the 2016 SCOTUS nomination, fell on an election year. At the time, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell plead to wait for the new President to nominate the replacement. This time, though, the reds can no longer wait.

Taunting the ire of the left, President Trump will announce his nominee next week.

CNN Anchor Don Lemon joins the throng of displeased Democrats.

In a news segment on air, Lemon commented to “blow up the entire system” after his colleague, Chris Cuomo, said Americans need to vote to have their voices heard.

Lemon then suggested to “get rid of the Electoral College” because the “minority” in the US “decides on the judges and president.”

Should Joe Biden wins, the “Democrats can stack the courts, and they can do that amendment and get it passed,” Lemon continued.

The CNN anchor is an open critic of the President. His comments came days after several Democrats threatened to “pack the courts” if their Presidential candidate wins in the November elections.

Foxnews reported other Democrats said to consider court-packing if the confirmation is delayed, and would occur during a lame-duck session after November 3.

“If Sen. McConnell and @SenateGOP were to force through a nominee during the lame-duck session — before a new Senate and President can take office — then the incoming Senate should immediately move to expand the Supreme Court,” Jerry Nadler, House Judiciary Chairman, tweeted in his social media account.

According to the New York Democrat, filling the SCOTUS vacancy during a lame-duck session is “undemocratic and a clear violation of the public trust” in their elected officials.

“Congress would have to act, and expanding the court would be the right place to start,” Nadler added.

The Democrats, though helpless at this point, stressed the Senate on waiting until after the election of a new President. Yet, President Trump is thrilled to exercise his Constitutional obligation in filling the vacated seat immediately.

Senator Mitch McConnell explained the precedent is when the Senate and the White House have opposing parties.

As the national election draws near, so does the third SCOTUS nomination.

Don Lemon can threaten violence, but there is no stopping the President.
